( A short introduction about myself)

Hello! My name is Jessie Ayungon, my close friends and my relatives sometimes call me “Tuling” or “Ting”. Yes! You heard right it’s a little bit funny but I accept it. I was born to be wild. Char. Just kidding. I was born on February, 17 in a year 2000 in Barangay Binubuhan, Bago City. I was born and raised in the Philippines. I have a dark skin since I was a child. They say that if you go to manila you will turn white, actually I went in Manila for several times but my skin loves and I am proud of it. I have 5 siblings and I’m the youngest. My father is originated from the city of La Carlota and my mother is pure kapampangan. That’s the reason why I know how to speak Tagalog, hiligaynon, kapampangan and little bit Spanish.
I really love hiking and traveling. As a matter of fact, I already hike in many mountain in the Philippines like in Mt. Canlaon, Mt. Makiling in Los Baños, Laguna and Mt. Arayat in Arayat Pampanga. Since I was a child I wanted to visit in different places, that’s why I felt happy if I visit many places it seems like a dream come true. By the way I am taking up Bachelor of Arts in Communication at STI West Negros University in a final year. I love talking in front of the crowd and share my experiences and knowledge. I’m also an observant person, I learn from others to improve myself in various things and fields. I joined campus journalism in schools since high school. In my first time joining Division School Press Conference or DSPC I won as champion.
Playing piano, flute, strings, volleyball, and badminton are my hobbies. Actually, I am a pianist and organist in the Church for roughly two years. Learning instruments for me is essential. I believe learning a musical instrument not only sustains and feeds the brain, but it also improves so many other cognitive and physical aspects of the human body.Music has a unique effect on our emotions, it can make us happy or sad, or even amplify the current emotion we are feeling. Studies have shown that music can help with keeping you calm, it’s even been proven to lower heart rate and blood pressure, which in turn lowers the stress hormone cortisol, therefore making us feel relaxed.
My motto in life is, Never stop learning because it is the key to success. No matter what is our profession, field of study, or role in company or industry, continued learning is one of the many keys to success. This is true in technical fields like mine, but also just as true in management, the arts, and various professions. The moment we turn out mind off and think that we know it all is the moment we personal and professional growth will stop. Live in meaningful way.
